Hopefully the Peavey Mart Centrium will be "Home Sweet Home"  for the Red Deer Rebels.

Sunday they found themselves down 2 games to 0 after a close OT loss to the Saskatoon Blades at the SaskTel Centre.

It was a defensive struggle for both teams, until the Blades would get the only goal at the halfway point of the second period.

Down 1-0 in the third, Rebels, Kalan Lind would score on power play goal assisted by Hunter Mayo and Carson Latimer. That goal would be the only score in the third which would end tied at 1-1.

Both teams would go back and forth for most of the first OT period until  17 minutes in when Blades Defenceman, Ben Saunderson,  would get his second point of the game, and the game winning goal.

Rebels Goalie Chase Wutzke would play the entire game stopping 47 of 49 shots. Wutzke would be named the game's second star.

The Rebels are now down 2 games to 0 in their best-of-seven but luckily will play their next two games at home.

Game 3 goes Tuesday night, and Game 4 on Wednesday. Both games start at 7:00 pm at The Peavey Mart Centrium.
