Judah Knip threw five touchdowns passes on Saturday night as the Central Alberta Buccaneers rolled over the Calgary Wolfpack 60-12 at MEGlobal Athletic Park.

Receivers Jesse MacPhail and Axsivier Lawrence caught two each in the first half. Receiver Tanner Olstad caught the fifth in the third quarter.

Despite the lopsided score, MacPhail said the team has some room for improvement as the regular season winds down.

"I think we have a lot of work to do. We had a slow week at practice. Some of the guys need to get their heads back in the game," he said, noting that bye weeks in the schedule have thrown players out of rhythm.

"It's playing with guys ... they came out firing on all cylinders and we didn't. We did curb that in the second half but it was evident in the first half, we were put on our heels a little bit there."

With the victory, the Bucs improve to 5-2 on the season.

They visit the St. Albert Stars on July 29 to finish their regular season.

The Bucs host their first game of the playoffs on Aug. 12.
