It's going to be a busy weekend for The Town of Delburne as they will be hosting the U-15 Tier Three Provincials at the Delburne Ag Arena.
Courtney Cox, the chairperson for the event says they are really excited about it. "It's a big event for Delburne. We have eight teams coming from all over Alberta. The tournament starts Thursday with our first game at 4:30, we play all day Friday and Saturday, and then the finals are on Sunday."
The teams coming to Delburne for this event are: Leduc, High Prairie, Beiseker, Elk Point, Edmonton area and Calgary area.
Cox says with so many people coming to the town it will be a good thing. "I really hope it helps out our local businesses. We sent out emails to everybody letting them know what we can provide. I think everybody's looking forward to what this can do to make it busy."
