It's win or go home for the Lacombe Dodgers as they visit Innisfail tonight with a game against the Trappers.

It's Game 2 of the best-of-three series in the Parkland League Final and after Wednesday's 13-4 loss, player-manager Andre Touchette knows they need to be better.

“We just need to eliminate those simple mistakes that we we’re making, it wasn’t even errors. It was just mental mistakes on the base paths and lazy throws on the field.”

Touchette expects it to be different tonight and said he’s confident the team will be ready.

“We got to do whatever it takes for us to be prepared for tonight. We know now that one more game like (Wednesday) and we’re done and that would be kind of a waste of a season.”

With the win tonight, the Dodgers would force a championship game on Sunday in Lacombe.
