On the 1st of November, 2017 at approximately 5:00 am Lacombe Police members were dispatched to a report of a break and enter to the Big Splash Car Wash located at 4013 52nd Avenue in Lacombe.

Upon arrival is was determined that entry to the business was made by smashing out the front entrance door.

The suspect(s) had already departed the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and product prior to Police arrival.

On the 2nd of November, 2017, at approximately 1:45 am, Lacombe Police members were once again dispatched to the same location for a report of a break and enter.

On this occasion a male was confronted by the business owner and fled the location on foot.

Upon Police attendance they were able to track the suspect to a residence where a male was located and taken into custody.

The stolen items were also recovered. As a result of further investigation the following male has been charged with numerous offences under the Criminal code.

Joshua Aiden BACON (20yrs) from Lacombe, Alberta has been charged with the following offences:

- Break and Enter – Two (2) counts

- Possession of Break in instruments

– One (1) count

- Theft from Motor Vehicle

– One (1) count BACON was subsequently released from custody with his next court appearance scheduled for December 1st in Red Deer Provincial Court.
