Five people were arrested and with a total of 58 charges as Red Deer RCMP conducted their patrols on 4900 Block of 47 Avenue on December 12th.

The officers observed several people and weapons in an idling vehicle. A loaded 9mm handgun, an extended baton, a bat, a pair of brass knuckles, a hammer, and three knives were seized in the arrest. One individual identified as a member of the Syndicate Red Deer Motorcycle Club, a support club for the Hell’s Angels.

Lester Acorn, 35, of Wetaskiwin:

  • Nine firearms related charges
  • Nine Breach of Release Order Conditions Charges

Michael Zwiggelar, 27, of Red Deer:

  •  Eight firearms related charges
  • Two weapons related charges

Chasse Bare, 24, of Red Deer:

  • Nine firearms related charges
  • Three Breach of Release Order Conditions charges

William Vince, 51, of Red Deer:

  •  Eight Firearm related charges

William Johnson-Vince, 30, of Red Deer:

  • Eight firearm related charges
  • Two weapons related charges

Acorn has been remanded and the other four individualswere released on bail with conditions of release. The first court appearance will be January 8, 2021.
