According to the Fortis website all power has been restored in the Lacombe area. No information has been provided on the reason for the unplanned outage.

Update: 

Multiple outages are now being reported in the city of Lacombe affecting more than 200 customers. Restoration is currently in progress but some areas may not see the power return until 3:00PM

 

Original Post:

Just before 4 am, Tuesday, an unplanned power outage happened between 50th street and Highway 2a in Lacombe.

As this is an unplanned outage, the cause is unknown.

According to Fortis Alberta the estimated time for restoration will be around 10 am. Crews are actively working on getting power back to the affected 25 customers in the area.
