Sunny 94 has partnered with Central Alberta Rescue Effort Shelter (C.A.R.E.S) to bring you Pet of the Week! Each Wednesday we feature a new, super friendly, totally adoptable dog or cat. We’ll tell you a bit about them in hopes you’ll go to CARES, meet them, fall in love, and take them home with you!

Meet Kelly!

Hello, my name is Kelly! I’m a 4 year old Dark Brindle English Bulldog! I came to CARES from a breeder along with a bunch of other dogs. I’m very glad I’m out of that situation and have been given a second chance at life! Now all I need is someone like you to come and meet me, take me home, and be my best friend!

I’ll tell you a little bit about myself… I am a very sweet and friendly girl who wants nothing more than your love and attention. You could throw a ball for fetch and I would probably be more focused on licking your face! But I do love to play and be outside so if you’re going to adopt me be sure to set time aside each day so I can burn some energy! I’m only 4 years old, I’ve got plenty of running left in me!

With my personality I think I would do well in most home environments. I get along well with other dogs, especially my current kennel-mate who is also a female English Bulldog. She’s much bigger than me though – I’m very small for my breed! I have never met a cat before so if you have one maybe bring them in to meet me before deciding to take me home. I want to make sure we get along!
