If you're sick and tired of travelling in the fog in the morning and at night, some relief is on the horizon.

Environment Canada Forecaster Greg Pearce says "it looks like there will be some wind stirring the atmosphere up as we get into the mid part of the week, so maybe some more fog tonight, then we'll have some high cloud move in during the day on Wednesday and that should help alleviate the fog situation".

Pearce says it's a stagnate air mass and a weak high pressure ridge situated over Alberta that hasn't moved leading to extensive fog in much of the province for a number of days.

It will remain cool, but dry this week, with no snow in the forecast.
