From Rocky Mountain House RCMP: August 13th, 11:00am.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP say they have found the body of a 29-year-old man who fell off a guard rail and into the Brazeau Reservoir in the early morning hours of August 3rd.

On Saturday, August 11th, the male's body was located by the RCMP and recovered from the water.

 

 

From Rocky Mountain House RCMP: August 3rd.

On August 3, around 4:30 a.m., the Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a call for service regarding a male who fell over the Brazeau Reservoir.

RCMP responded to the emergency and determined that the male fell over the edge after climbing up on the guard rail of the Reservoir in the early hours of the morning.

RCMP with the assistance Search and Rescue, Clearwater County Fire, and Conservation Enforcement completed an extensive search of the Reservoir and North Saskatchewan River throughout the day yesterday. 

Today, the search for the 29-year-old male continues.  It is now being treated as a body recovery.

The RCMP members are out on the RCMP boat, and several other agencies are working on this recovery, including: Conservation officers, Parks, Drayton Valley Fire and Clearwater County Fire.
