From Rimbey RCMP:

A search warrant was recently executed by the RCMP in Rimbey.  As a result, numerous vehicles, a trailer, stolen property and firearms were seized.  The property recovered has been linked to numerous vehicle thefts and break and enters throughout Central Alberta.  The Rimbey Detachment and Ponoka General Investigation Section executed the search warrant.

During the investigation, Rimbey Detachment was supported by the following RCMP specialized unit: Serious Crimes Branch - Auto Theft South.   

Three males and one female were arrested as a result of the warrant.  During the course of the investigation, police determined the accused were in possession of the following stolen property including: 4 trucks, 1 ATV, 1 Live stock hauler and various firearms. There is also evidence of an automotive Chop Shop operation.  

Charges are being pursued in this matter, once formal charges have been laid an update will be provided.
