The Rimbey RCMP are asking for the public's assistance to identify a person of interest in the investigation of a minivan theft from the Rimbey Best Western on April 23.

At 6:00 am on April 23, a man arrived at the Best Western Hotel in Rimbey on a bicycle, went into the hotel and stole a purse belonging to an employee.

The suspect then used keys found in the purse to steal a grey Dodge Caravan from the Hotel parking lot. The van has since been recovered. Surveillance cameras at the nearby CanAlta hotel captured the attached image of a man matching the suspect description.

Rimbey RCMP are asking anyone that can identify the person in this photograph to call the Rimbey RCMP at 403-843-2223.
