August 28th - Red Deer RCMP located Michael Langille at a residence in the Vanier Woods neighbourhood on August 25 and arrested him without incident. 

Langille was wanted on 11 outstanding warrants, including four charges from August 4 after he fled police in a stolen vehicle, narrowly missing striking his fellow passenger, who had exited the stolen truck, and police officers who were setting up containment. 

Langille is scheduled to appear in court in Red Deer on August 30 at 8:30 am to speak to seven charges of failing to comply with court-imposed conditions (CC 145(3)) and is scheduled to appear in court again on August 28 at 9:30 am to face the following charges regarding the August 4 incident:·        

  • Criminal Code 249(1)(a) – Dangerous driving·        
  • Criminal Code 252 – Fail to stop at scene of accident·        
  • Criminal Code 355(a) – Possession of stolen property over $5,000·        
  • Criminal Code 145(3) – Fail to comply with conditions

August 11th - Red Deer RCMP are searching for 40 year old Michael Cedric Langille, who is wanted on warrants for dangerous driving, failing to stop, property crimes and failing to comply with court-imposed conditions after Langille fled from police in a stolen vehicle on August 4. Red Deer RCMP have been working diligently to locate Langille and are asking for public assistance to locate him; RCMP believe he is in the Red Deer area.

Michael Langille is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 5’7” tall
  • 185 lbs
  • Brown hair
  • Blue eyes
