Traffic was detoured for more than three hours this morning in Red Deer following a crash that involved a marked RCMP cruiser.
 
It happened shortly before 5:30am at the intersection of Kerrywood Drive and Taylor Drive.
 
Police say three people sustained minor injuries and the two officers involved were released from hospital shortly after arriving.
 
RCMP says they were responding to a call for service at the time, which was separate from the incident.
 
The roads are believed to be a contributing factor and the collision remains under investigation.
