Red Deer Catholic Schools have announced their fundraising total from their 2019 Terry Fox Run, which took place this past fall.

In total, the 12 schools in the division raised $9,056 for cancer research.

Participating schools included:

  • École Secondaire Notre Dame High School
  • Holy Family School
  • Holy Trinity Catholic School
  • Maryview School
  • St. Elizabeth Seton School
  • St. Gregory the Great Catholic School
  • St. Matthew Catholic School
  • St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School
  • St. Teresa of Avila School
  • St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School

“Giving back to our community and servantship is one of the main elements of Catholic education. We are so pleased with our school communities and their dedication to supporting such a vital cause,” said Interim Superintendent of Schools, Kathleen Finnigan at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.

Since the start of the Terry Fox Foundation, RDCS has donated over $362,500 in total.
