A Red Deer man and woman were arrested after Red Deer RCMP seized stolen identification, credit cards and debit cards during a search warrant at a residence in the Normandeau neighbourhood on May 16.

Red Deer RCMP executed the search warrant at a residence on Nichols Crescent at approximately 8:30 am on May 16, where they located a motorcycle that had been reported stolen out of Red Deer on May 5, as well as identification and other personal documents in the names of multiple victims.

RCMP also seized methamphetamine during the search. A man and woman were arrested at the residence without incident.

40 year old Michael Edward Labar faces the following charges:

• Criminal Code 402.2 – Identity theft X 3
• Criminal Code 354 – Possession of stolen property

Labar will appear in court in Red Deer on June 20 at 9:30 am.

20 year old Savannah Lee Korth was charged with:

• Criminal Code 129(a) – Resist/ obstruct peace officer
• CDSA 4(1) – Possession of Schedule I substance (methamphetamine)

Korth appeared in court earlier this month and the charges were dealt with at that time.
