The RCMP have been investigating a theft of copper wire that occurred on July 8, 2018 on a remote oil lease site.  A suspect photo has been obtained, and police are seeking assistance in identifying the male in the photo.

Sometime in the early hours of July 8, an unknown male entered the site and is alleged to have cut ground wire running throughout.  Copper wire that was wrapped around a spool was stolen.

The RCMP have not been able to identify the male in the attached surveillance photos.  If you have any information about the identity of this male, please call the Rimbey RCMP at 403-843-2224, or call your local police detachment.
