A Sea-Can located on 45 Beaverrun Trail near the town of Sundre was broken into on February 5th and 7th. A suspect and her vehicle were identified on the site via surveillance footage. 

On February 10th, a search warrant was obtained and executed by the Innisfail Detachment. Two suspects were arrested at the location on Main Street. Evidence linking the suspect to the break and enter was seized from the home along with stolen property, two homemade fire arms, ammunition and methamphetamine. 

Sophia Crumley and Russel Keaast-Crumley have been jointly charged with the following:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Possession of methamphetamine 
  • Unsafe storage of a firearm
  • Possession of an unauthorized firearm 
  • Several other property related charges

Additionally, they have given Sophia Crumley charges related to break and enter, mischief, and theft. 

They were both scheduled to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on February 11, 2021. 

Innisfail RCMP are still looking for the owner of a red Honda EM5000SX Generator, a Honda 2000 generator, and a yellow Fireman 1200 Generator which were all recovered during the incident.
