Red Deer RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify a man who robbed the East Hill Liquor Depot at gunpoint Sunday night.

Shortly after 10 pm on December 18, the suspect entered the East Hill Liquor Depot at 22 Street and 30 Avenue and pointed a long barrel shotgun at the staff member while demanding cash. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money and got into the back seat of a waiting parked car, which fled the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The car was seen driving north on 40 Avenue and then turning west on Selkirk Boulevard. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 5’11” tall
  • slim build
  • wearing a black hoodie and a black balaclava

The suspect car is described as an older red and grey car with metal rails on the trunk.
