JUNE 4TH - Mark Carr was arrested by the RCMP without incident this afternoon.  A court date is pending.


On June 2, 2017 the Ponoka RCMP entered into an investigation involving allegations of sexual assault and forcible confinement.  Through the course of this investigation a suspect was identified and the K-Division Emergency Response Team was activated to assist with a search of the suspect's property.

During the evening of June 3, 2017 a judicially authorized search of the suspect's property was conducted; however, the suspect was not located.  This operation was concluded during the early morning hours of June 4.
