On October 14, 2017 the Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at the Gentleman’s Liquor Store in Wetaskiwin. 

At approximately 9:15 p.m., a male suspect entered the liquor store and requested the price of a bottle of liquor, and then brandished a knife, demanding that the clerk give him the bottle of liquor.  The suspect fled with a bottle of liquor.

The clerk was not injured during this incident.

Video surveillance shows a second male waiting outside the liquor store.  Both males left on foot.  Photos are available and attached to this media release.

The RCMP received this complaint following a time delay and the males were not located.  The public is being asked to assist with identifying these males; one directly involved and one who is considered a person of interest in this incident.
