A local artist from Lacombe is creating three dimensional artwork using LEGO and it's on display at the LMC.

Christian Lintan's love of LEGO began as a child and since last year he began creating anything from portraits, to buildings and even aircrafts from Star Wars.

The exhibit is titled 'Unconventional Creativity' and Lintan said LEGO is one of those universal toys that many can relate to.

“A lot of people grew up with LEGO and they understand it and the appeal. For me it goes back to when I was a kid and a lot of my creativity stemmed from that. LEGO has helped me become who I am in terms of being artistic and creative.”

He added this is his first art exhibit and most of his work is created in the colour white, which is something he said is pleasing to the eye.

The exhibit will be on display and can be viewed until the end of the year.
