City of Red Deer tipped it's hat to their hard working employees Friday night at the annual Employee Recognition Awards Banquet.

The highlight of the night was the presentation of the Bob Stollings Memorial Award, given to an employee who has displayed outstanding civic performance in alignment with the City's cornerstone values of respect, integrity, service and excellence.

This year's recipient is Linda Key, who has worked in the Information Technology Services Department for 27 years, helping to shape the way the City uses technology.

The annual awards also recognized other employees for long service, safety, innovation, leadership and environmental stewardship.
