If you have a spring project in mind and you're looking for either advice, or supplies, this weekend’s Lacombe Spring Trade Show is here to help.

Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 36th edition of the show today from 2-8 pm, and again tomorrow from 10-4 at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex.

Chamber Executive Director Monica Bartman says they’ll have nearly 100 vendors on hand.

“You know if you need to build a deck on your house, or you need to pick up some retail products, or you want to get in shape or you need to buy some plants, there’s really going to be something for everyone”.

New this year, the show will feature food, and drink vendors so you can enjoy a snack while chatting with local businesses.

The City of Lacombe will also have a booth set up and they'll host Coffee with Council tomorrow from 11:30-2, giving you a chance to meet with Mayor and Council about any issues or kudo's you may have for City staff and programs.

Bartman says it’s also not just businesses on hand.

“Even if you’re looking at even volunteering with an organization in Lacombe we have quite a few non-profits and charities that are going to be represented, you can learn a little bit more about getting involved from that perspective”.
