From Lacombe Police Service: On the 8th of January, 2018, at approximately 2:00AM, Lacombe Police members observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the 5100 block of 51st Street. The male driver was found asleep in the vehicle.

Further investigation determined that male was wanted on outstanding warrants and bound by several court imposed conditions.

The male was arrested on the outstanding warrants and also breaching his release conditions.

During the arrest Police located and seized 5.61 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 9.87 grams of fentanyl and 2.85 grams of crack cocaine.

As a result, the following male has been charged with 4 offences under the Criminal Code and 3 offences under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

Theodore Anthony KOCH (58 yrs) from Calgary, Alberta has been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a controlled Substance - Three (3) counts under the CDSA
  • Fail to comply with released conditions - Three (3) counts
  • Possess weapon dangerous to the public - One (1) count

KOCH was remanded into custody with his next court appearance scheduled for January 12, 2018 in Red Deer Provincial court.
