Kraay Family Farm was rocking this weekend, as they officially opened their doors on their 18th season.

Weather wasn’t cooperating on Friday, but they couldn’t have asked for better weather on Saturday, as people from around the area came out in bunches to join in on the fun.

From stalk car racing, to jumping pillows to their world-famous corn maze, the farm has something for everyone.

For the second straight year Mazahir Dhanji has made the trip from Edmonton with his kids and says it the perfect way to spend a day with the family.

“We came last year to Kraay Family Farm with my kids and my wife and just had a great time. We said okay, let’s do it every year because it’s a great place and we had a great time again.”

Co-owner Rachel Kraay says after a long winter, it’s good to be back up and running.

“October last year was not the best weather, if people remember, so to start again is exciting and we’re looking forward to just seeing people again. We only do this for these three months so yeah, we kind of miss people the rest of the season. It’s good to see people again.”

Miniature golf, the corncession and the duck races are also highlighting this year’s activities at Kraay Family Farm.
