Residents of Rainbow Park Condominium, in Sylvan Lake, woke up to the sound of sirens and a large structure fire early Sunday morning.

According to neighbors who witnessed the fire, it broke out at around 4:00 and The Sylvan Lake Fire Department were there right away.

The fire started it one unit one the 1400 block, and then spread to the surrounding 3 or 4 adjacent condominiums.

Luckily there have been no reports of injuries.

The main fire was extinguished about 5:30am. There is extensive damage to at least 3 units and other damage to 2 more.

Sylvan Lake Fire Department crews were still on scene examining the damage Sunday afternoon.

So far, a cause of the fire has not been determined. More details to follow.
