Card-sized vaccination records

Starting on September 14th, Albertans will be able to print out their card-sized COVID-19 vaccination records or show it on their phone or tablet.

“We continue to make it easier for Albertans to securely access their health information, including immunization records, in the palm of their hand any time and anywhere through MyHealth Records. More Albertans are signing up for this tool every day to access their health information, and if you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to sign up now,” said Shandro.

The Government of Alberta is also working to make proof of vaccination accessible through QR code as a faster, more secure way to share the information. The QR code is expected to launch in the coming weeks.

At this time, it is recommended that Albertans plan and save their proof vaccination for their needed date. You can check out MyHealth Records here.

$100 vaccine incentive

Additionally, the Government of Alberta has launched their $100 incentive for Albertans to receive their vaccinations. Those who get their vaccinations between the dates of September 3 and October 14th are eligible to receive a prefilled debit card.

The first 15,000 Albertans will receive their debit cards in October once their vaccines are validated by Alberta Health. Debit cards for additional eligible registrants will be delivered in November and December.
