From Rocky Mountain House RCMP:

On March 17, Rocky Mountain House RCMP members conducted a traffic stop with a suspicious vehicle in the Town of Rocky Mountain House.  During the course of an Alberta Traffic Safety Act investigation, a significant amount of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marihuana was seized, along with other evidence to support drug trafficking.

Leslie Cole, aged 21-years-old, a former resident of Rocky Mountain House, has been charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance.

Cole will be appearing in Alberta Provincial Court in Rocky Mountain House on March 28, 2018 to answer to the charges.

Rocky Mountain House Detachment will continue crime reduction strategies and initiatives to disrupt and dismantle drug trafficking in the Rocky Mountain House area. We count on a continued collaboration with the community to report any suspicious activities.
