From Innisfail RCMP:
 
On November 19, 2017 the Innisfail RCMP responded to a call of a break and enter in progress on a lease site in rural area SE of Penhold. 
 
The complainant was able to provide a good description to police of the suspect vehicle and person observed on the property. 
 
RCMP attended and observed a vehicle and a male matching the description provided. 
 
The male was observed walking toward the truck carrying a bag. 
 
RCMP ordered the male to stop and he began to run away and hide. 
 
RCMP located the male and arrested him without incident.
 
The male was identified as 20 year old Jonathan James Scott of no fixed address. 
 
SCOTT has been formally charged with:
  • Break and Enter
  • Possess Break In Tools
  • Breach of probation order
  • Possess stolen property exceeding five thousand dollars
SCOTT was brought before the Justice of the Peace and released by the Justice of the Peace on a recognizance to appear in Red Deer provincial court November 29th at 9 am.
