The Central Alberta Sting U19AA ringette team posted 3 wins and 1 tie heading into the Tim Hortons Pacific Ring gold medal final in Vancouver Sunday, February 4.

Sting came home with silver medals recording a 4-7 loss against the Lower Mainland Thunder.  

Goals for Sting were scored by Kianna Doyle (2), Brianna Abell and Rachel Vandervlis.

 

The U14AA Sting returned home from the Pacific Ring Tournament with a 2-3 record. 

Early Tournament wins included a 5-2 Decision over PG Northern Lights and a 5-4 win over TORL Fusion on Friday, February 2nd

Losses to Calgary White and Vancouver Lower Mainland on Saturday, February 3rd prevented a playoff return for the U14AA Sting, who were 2017 champions at Pacific Ring. 

All games took place at the Richmond Ice Centre.

The Under 16 Sting are the Blackgold Leauge champs after a pair of games this weekend and an undefeated season..

They led the league in goals, least goals against, and the least penalty minutes.

They are off to provincials in Edmonton later this month.
