It’s a game the Lacombe Rams felt they should have won, after losing 48-21 to Hunting Hills tonight (Oct.12) in high school football action.

Head Coach Jason Petrie said despite the score, the Rams were the better team.

“We had a slow start. We had kids that had doubt at the beginning of the game, but as the game worn on we started to out physical them quite a bit and won the second half.”

With the Lightning being undefeated this year, Petrie said they’ve been tough to solve, but is confident moving forward.

“I’m looking forward to playing them (again) because I think there is doubt in their minds. We didn’t dominate them on the scoreboard today, but we dominated them on the field. They should be very worried.”

The Rams will look ahead to next Friday when they match up against Lindsay Thurber.
