Lacombe Generals look to take their first lead of the series tonight as they host the Stony Plain Eagles in Chinook Hockey League playoff action.

A win would give the Gens a 3-2 lead and Captain Don Morrison said in order to do that, they need to keep things simple.

“All-in-all it’s a simple game. We got make sure we take the body all over the ice and we definitely have to get lots of pucks and bodies to the front of the net.”

With both teams team having yet to win a home game, Morrison said there's no better time to change that.

“This seven-game series has now gone into a three-game series so tonight is a very important game. We have to win this and it’s important for us to use our home-ice advantage.”

Game time 8 p.m. at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex.
