After losing two games on the road in Saskatchewan over the weekend, the Red Deer Rebels were looking to put that behind them with a win back at home Wednesday.

Luckily they could do that with a 4-3 shoot out win over the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Credit has to be given to both team's goalies including Connor Ungar of the Warriors who stopped 50 shots, and Rebels goalie Rhett Stoesser, who stopped all three shots in the shootout victory.

Probably not a surprise, but it was another multi-point night for league leading scorer Kai Uchacz who got his 34th goal of the season, and was the only skater to score in the shoot out.

Rebels Captain, Jayden Grubbe, who had been injured over the past two games, played last night and had an assist on a goal by Kalan Lind.

The Rebels home stand continues as they host the Edmonton Oil Kings Friday and visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes Saturday
