February 19th

I had a chance to chat this morning with Ryon Holmedal about his performance which is coming up this Thursday evening at the Lacombe Performing Arts Centre. Ryon is from Lacombe and says that he has been performing almost all of his life.

The show is described as "Musical storytelling immersed in a tapestry of spoken word, alternative folk, progressive rock, ambient instrumental and roots". When asked what that means Ryon says "It's about sweeping away of the soul, exploring the light, and the contrasting shadows that we live in".

Because there are so many genres of music involved in the performance Ryon says the show is great for all ages.

You can check out the performance as part of the Alair Winter Series Thursday night, February 21st. Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30.

Tickets are on sale at The Mary C Moore Library, Lacombe Rexall, and www.bkticketcentre.ca
