Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for The Rocky Mountain House and Nordegg areas. The forecast is calling for heavy snow this afternoon and into late evening. Road conditons may get worst as the snow and blowing snow continues today.

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.Heavy snow will continue this afternoon and tonight, and end Thursday morning.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
