Here is a list of all the Remembrance Day Ceremonies around Central Alberta:


Lacombe: The service will be held at The Lacombe Memorial Centre (5214 50th Avenue, Lacombe). There is a community breakfast beginning at 8am at the Legion, then the service will begin at 10:45am. There will also be a potluck dinner at 5pm upstairs at the Legion. Those attending are asked to bring enough food for themelves plus one.

 

Blackfalds: The service will be at The Abbey Centre (4500 Womacks Road, Blackfalds). Though the service begins at 10:45am, guests are encouraged to arrive around 10:30am as parking is limited.

 

Ponoka: The service will be held at The Ponoka Legion (3911 AB-2A, Ponoka). The ceremony officially starts at 10:45am with a potluck lunch/dinner with live music to follow starting at 12:20pm.

 

Red Deer: The service will be held at CrossRoads Church (38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer). It will begin at 10:30am. There will be free transit to and from the venue, attendees will be picked up and dropped off at Sorensen Station downtown. The bus will begin picking people up at 9am and will be making route every 15 minutes until 10:15am.

 

Innisfail: The service will be held at The Innisfail Legion (5108 49th Avenue, Innisfail). The ceremony begins at 9:45am in the auditorium. Afterwards, the commmunity can gather at the cenotaph for a wreath laying ceremony at 10:45am.

 

Sylvan Lake: The service will be held at Sylvzan Lake Multiplex (4803 48th Street, Sylvan Lake). The ceremony begins at 10:45am and will finish at around 11:30am.
