Wetaskiwin RCMP are asking for public assistance to locate missing 15-year-old Ava Yellowbird, a resident of Wetaskiwin. She was last seen on May 18, 2023 in the Wetaskiwin area. RCMP received information that Ava may have been in Edmonton in the area of 77 Street North West. All efforts to locate Ava in Edmonton been unsuccessful. RCMP believe that she is moving between Red Deer and Edmonton.
Ava Yellowbird is described as:
- Medium complexion
- 5’6” tall and approximately 149 lbs.
- Black medium length hair with brown eyes
- Wearing black leggings and blue zipper sweater. She had a pink backpack and white sneakers.
