Central Alberta woke up to a blanket of fog and a dusting of snow Wednesday morning.

It took Tank an extra 20 minutes to get into Lacombe from Sylvan Lake this morning due to the fog and icy conditions, but if you drive slow and be cautious you shouldn't have an issue this morning.

According to the AMA Road Reports for our area, roads are marked as mostly in good condition, with more snow coverage east and west of Lacombe along highway 12, and east of Red Deer on Highway 11. Road conditions deteriorate the further east you go, with snow and ice-covered roads being reported around Mirror, Erksine, and Stettler.

No word on any accidents or delays to worry about as of 6:55 am, but stayed tuned to Sunny 94 and follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and we will provide you with any traffic problems as they come in.

Feel free to give us a call at 403-782-4413, or send us a message if you have any traffic-related information for us this morning.
