UPDATE from Lacombe Fire Department, June 15, 2020:

"At approximately 11:48 a.m. we received a call for a structure fire at Regent Close, and crews were on scene in about five minutes. When we arrived, there was quite extensive smoke and flames coming from the back of the building," said Lacombe Fire Chief Dennis Cole. 

"We set up our lines and knocked down the fire. Within about an hour we had it all under control."

Cole said it is suspected that the fire started in the patio area of the house and the exact cause of the fire is under investigation. 

There was extensive damage done to the home, to the tune of approximately $250,000.

"There were no injuries, all the occupants got out safely prior to our arrival and are all in good health."

A fire started around noon in Lacombe on Sunday, June 14th on Regent Close.  At this time, fire crews ask for space as they continue to work putting it out.
