Classroom of the Month - May

The 2^nd last Classroom of the Month of the season was awesome!

Marissa from Sunny weekends, Allie from the Ride Home Show, and Sunny himself went to JS McCormick Elementary School in Lacombe to see Mrs. Cooke’s grade 1 class!

TJ, a student in the class, sent us an entry form saying this:

“We are so happy and silly and smart! Our classroom is bright from our new windows. We work so hard on our reading and we work so, so hard on printing! We give little pieces of paper to each other and then we “fill their buckets” (make them feel good)”

I hope some pizza from Boston Pizza and a balloon structure from Balloons Galore also make your class feel good! As well, each student got a goodie bag filled with gifts from our sponsors.

While we were there we watched “Kid Snippets” where kids dub over the voices of adults, and we learned the kids do some cosmic yoga to unwind!

We wish this class all the best heading into grade 2 next year! Maybe we’ll bring some more pizza along?
