Sunny 94 has partnered with Central Alberta Rescue Effort Shelter (C.A.R.E.S) to bring you pet of the week! Each Friday we feature a new, super friendly, totally adoptable dog or cat. We’ll tell you a bit about them in hopes you’ll go to CARES, meet them, fall in love, and take them home with you!

Little Critter

Meet Little Critter!

Oh hi there! My name is Little Critter and I’m a 3 month old kitten who was born on a farm, surrendered by my owner, and am looking for my very first home! I was part of a bigger litter, I’m one of the last of us to get adopted. I’m currently hanging out at PetValu in Lacombe where lots of people get to see me and snuggle me!

I love playing with other kitties; I’m a really social girl! Although many cats get more solitary and territorial as they get older, kittens thrive when another kitten is nearby to play with. A bored kitten is a kitten that gets into trouble. Keep in mind, cats and kittens are very different personality-wise. Kittens sleep more, we don’t really know our limitations, and we eat more frequently. So keep in mind if you take me home you’ll have your hands a little full. But let’s be honest, having a kitten is SO WORTH the little bit of trouble they give you at first!

As this bio is written I am not yet spayed. But 3 months is usually around the time kitties get it done. I would love to meet you! Who knows, maybe we’ll be best friends? If I’m not at PetValu when you come to see me, I may be back at CARES – so check there 2nd! If you and I don’t jive, there are lots of other dogs and cats just like me looking for a new lease on life at the shelter. Book an appointment at CARES by CLICKING HERE to get the process started.
