Say hello to Triscuit!

Hi there, my name is Triscuit! I’m a mix between a few different dogs, no one’s quite sure which ones! There’s definitely terrier in me somewhere and that’s what gives me the wiry coat and long legs. I was found roaming the streets of Lacombe and brought into the shelter until someone claimed me. Well, no one has come to claim me so I’m ready for my new forever home!

I’m a medium breed so I don’t need a whole lot of space, but I do LOVE to run around outside so it’s a huge bonus for you to have a yard – but not a necessity! I’m a little bit shy when it comes to meeting new people but it doesn’t take me very long to gain some courage! Sometimes it just takes a bit for me to realize that you’re friendly. I do well with other dogs as well as with kids. It’s unconfirmed what I’m like with cats so if you have one, it might be a good idea to have them come to meet me with you! If you have treats you’ve basically won my heart – I’m such an easy pooch!

I’m spayed and all caught up on routine vaccinations (rabies and kennel cough). If you and I don’t mesh, there are so many other dogs and cats just like me at CARES that need a second chance at life!
