Sunny 94 has partnered with Central Alberta Rescue Effort Shelter (C.A.R.E.S) to bring you Pet of the Week! Each Wednesday we feature a new, super friendly, totally adoptable dog or cat. We’ll tell you a bit about them in hopes you’ll go to CARES, meet them, fall in love, and take them home with you!

Windy

This is Windy!

Hi, my name is Windy! I’m a middle-aged female bulldog who came to CARES as an owner surrender. We had a great life but unfortunately something unexpected happened and they could take me with them on their next journey in life. It’s a little sad but this just means I get to start a whole new life in a brand new home!

I’m really good at making friends! Whether it’s with adults, kids, other dogs, even cats – I’m very social and don’t get territorial or aggressive when in a crowd. My favorite place to be would have to be the dog park! All that space and fresh air really boosts my energy. Even though I have energy, I also love relaxing after a long day and watching movies! Just not Marley and Me… that one’s sad.

As this is being typed I have not been spayed yet, but I’m scheduled for the procedure very soon! My vaccinations are all caught up including rabies and kennel cough. I would LOVE to meet you and become the newest addition to your family! Book an appointment with CARES today to get the adoption process started. CLICK HERE to go to their website.
